WC 2022 Play-offs: Tunisia To Face Mali Without Khazri & Bronn
It is without two of her main players that Tunisia will face Mali in the play-offs of the 2022 World Cup on March 25 and 29!
On Monday, the Tunisian Federation (FTF) announced the withdrawals of central defender Dylan Bronn (Metz) and striker Wahbi Khazi (Saint-Etienne), both injured and unavailable for the double confrontation. The names of their replacements have not been disclosed yet.
31 year old Kahzri will be a great miss as he’s been on a purple patch for Saint Etienne scoring 9 goals since the start of the season.
In fact, the experience of making the world cup finals is a tale Kazhri can tell. The former French Youth international participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup for Tunisia, scoring two of the Carthage Eagles’ five goals in group D.
Dylan Bronn equally had a feel of the 2018 WC in Russia, and scored in Tunisia’s 5-2 defeat to Belgium.
The Carthage Eagles will face the Malians from 6 p.m. on Friday with the return set to be played at the Hamadi Agrébi stadium in Radès on Tuesday, March 29, from 8 p.m.
