Ace Coton Sport Garoua trainer, Gomes Da Rossa leading the Maurabitous in Cameroon for the AFCON has expressed his team’s détermination to reach the knockout phase.

The 2021 CAF Champions League quater finalist with Simba SC was speaking at press conference ahead he side’s Group F opener against Gambia in Limbe.

“We are very very satisfied after our preparations in Saudi Arabia.We worked on different systems plus, cohesion, unity, solidarity & determination reigned in the camp. We are all ready to put the colours of Mauritania on the world scene”, he said.

The Frenchman noted that despite not being group favorites, how s squad made up of locals players will capitalize on fighting spirit to realize their objective.

Mauritania takes on Gambia at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium on January 12 in a group which host Tunisia and Mali.
