Yvan Sinkot To Sign With Union Sportif Tomorrow

Cameroon Under-23 international Yvan Sinkot – will pen a one year deal renewable with Union Sportif of Douala tomorrow Oct. 15.

The 21-year-old leaves Dynamo Football Club of Douala, a club chaired by his father, Isaac Sinkot, a former Indomitable Lion who represented the country in the 1984 summer Olympics.

This will be the first move of newly signed Union coach – Oumarou Sokba, officially unveiled as the new gaffer some five days ago.

Yvan Sinkot spent four seasons at Dynamo Club, in which, he illuminated the Elite Two and constantly helped the club through relegation battles.

In the just ended season Yvan had a hand in 7 goals; scoring 3 and assisting other teammates four times.

His performance helped Dynamo Football Club to a 4th place finish with 17 points.

With a new management at the helm of Union Sportif Douala, the club seeks to immediately
re-ascend to the first division, after losing their 63 year old top flight status this season.
