Yves Missi Among Rising Stars Set to Shine at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco

In a thrilling development by the NBA, Yves Missi, along with his 2024 draft classmates including Risacher, Sarr, Zach Edey, and Dalton Knecht of the Lakers, has been selected to participate in the highly anticipated Rising Stars event of 2025. This captivating showcase of emerging talent is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 14 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, forming part of the NBA All-Star 2025 festivities.
The Rising Stars segment features a mini-tournament involving four teams and three games, providing a platform for the league’s most promising young players to exhibit their skills. The victorious Rising Stars team will secure a coveted spot in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
A total of 28 players have been chosen to compete in the Rising Stars event, comprising 10 NBA rookies, 11 sophomores embarking on their second NBA season, and seven standout players from the NBA G League. These players, meticulously selected by NBA assistant coaches and the league office, will be divided into three teams of seven NBA players each, with the remaining seven G League players forming the fourth team.
Yves Missi’s inclusion in the Rising Stars lineup is a testament to his exceptional performances throughout the ongoing NBA season. This season, the 20-year-old is averaging 9.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 56.6% from the field. Missi has been able to take advantage of the multitude of injuries the Pelicans’ roster has suffered this season and has proven that he is going to be a key part of their future
