Zambia Super League: Araina on target but Zanaco drop points at depth AGAIN
Zanaco’s towering forward Lambert Araina scored what looked to be a game winner on game day 5 against Power Dynamos, but the visitors responded with a late goal to share the spoils.
Zanaco and Power Dynamos played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, lunchtime at the Sunset stadium.
Lambert Araina gave the hosts the lead just before halftime, but a strike a minute from the end from Dominic Chanda gave Dynamos a point on the road.
This is the third game a late goal has costed Zanaco points after lack of concentration against Forest Rangers, Nchanga Rangers and Green Buffalos yielded same results.
The Bankers are now placed 12th in the 18-team tournament with 5 points, 8 points adrift of league leaders Zesco.
Forward, Lambert Araina meanwhile has been putting in the work and has directly been involved in 3 of his team’s goals, treating himself to two goals in 5 matches.
