Ze Makes Losing Debut For Metz

Didier Lamkel Ze, on loan at FC Metz until the end of the season, played 60 minutes in his side’s 1-2 defeat to Monaco on match day 30 of the French Ligue 1.

The latter who seemingly is still looking to find his feet on his return to the French championship, couldn’t find a debut goal for struggling Metz.

Ben Yedder’s 46th minute strike was cancelled out by Amadou at the 62nd minute, but Boadu’s 72nd minute strike ensured all three points for the away side Monaco.

Still under contract with Belgian club Royal Antwerp, the Cameroonian striker, Lamkel Ze will look to aid 19th placed Metz with more goals as they struggle in the relegation trap.

Author of 21 goals in the space of three seasons in the Belgian Jupiter League, Didier Lamkel Ze has already had two successive loan spells this 2021-2022 season: the first in the colors of Dunajská Streda (Slovak D1) then at FC Khimki ( Russian D1).

The native of Bertoua saw his second loan cut short by the Ukrainian conflict.
