All Set For Another Edition Of The Chedjou Sports Consulting Tourney

Today marks the second edition of the popular Chedjou Sports Consulting tourney, which has gained in weight, and over time, increased in popularity.

Unlike the month of May which was picked last year, April 5 has been established as the tournament’s start date this season, with 8 heavyweights set to battle it out for one crown.

For starters, after having officially announced his retirement last year, former Cameroonian international, Aurélien Chedjou – is giving back to the community of Douala via youth football.

The erstwhile Lille defender’s structure specialises in talent detection and support for footballers in their careers.

Barely just coming into the fray, the franchise will look to handle a second successful event this year, just like last year.

Clubs involved in this second edition include: All Star Bonamoussadi, AS Nyom, KSA, AS Poelsa, EFBC, Oyili FC, Real Academy and Galactiques.

Six of 8 clubs took part in the first edition with just two new comers’ All Star Bonamoussadi and AS Poelsa making their way in.

The launch of the second edition is scheduled for the Stade de Bonamoussadi where hundreds are expected for a complete spectacle at 9:00 am.

There are two groups of four teams each and the tournament runs from April 5-9.

Group A
EFBC
Oyili FC
Real Academy
Galactiques

Group B
AS Poelsa
All Star Bonamoussadi
AS Nylon
