Canon Filles Players Carry-out Strike Action At DTN

Players of Canon Filles players to the National Technical Directorate to demand their salaries and the programming of the matches.

Since the clearance of Canon Filles by the Appeal board of FECAFOOT a month ago, the club has not taken part in any match. For some reason, the Cameroon Women’s Football League (LFFC) has not programmed the club.

It is in this context that some Canon Filles players went to the headquarters of the National Technical Department in the Hippodrome district in Yaoundé to express their grievance.

The bottom line of their protest was unpaid wages, the rehabilitation of the club into the Guinness Super League and the support of the National Union of Cameroonian Footballers (SYNAFOC).

As a reminder, Canon Sportif Filles missed the first two games of the Guinness Super League due to dual identity.

The disciplinary commission of Fecafoot had therefore imposed a general forfeiture on the club and a relegation to the third division.

However, the Federation Appeals Board overturned that decision. But so far the Mekok Megonda girls have not been scheduled for an official match.
