Ngufor Terence scrambles point for PWD against Gazelle

Another tale of one missed chance too many nearly costed PWD against Gazelle, if not for the instinctive finishes (brace) of Ngufor Terence.

Former Hilltop Strikers forward, Ngufor Terence is at the peak of his powers with 3 goals in his last two games for PWD.

Faced against a tricky Gazelle side off a defeat to Elite One contenders Dynamo in Garoua, it was not going to be any easy for the charges of coach Dieudonne Nke.

Gazelle opened scoring through veteran midfeilder Yougouda Kada at the 53rd minute, as the Northeners looked set to return to winning ways.

However, a quick stint of sheer dominance from the 70th minute eventually saw PWD level through marksman Ngufor Terence.

At the other end, Gazelle obtained a spot kick of their own, and Dave Tessa stepped up to punish the Bamenda outfit.

When everything looked bleak, for the second time at the Bamendzi stadium, Ngufor Terence tapped in from close range.

Midfeilder Atangana hit the upright with his header, before Terence appeared at the back stick to tap in for 2-2.

The result leaves PWD with a ‘what if’ feeling as the Abakwa Boys rank 8th with 10 points. Gazelle will be happier with a point away from home, that sees them consolidate 6th position after 9 games, accumulating 11 points in the process.
