Pedro Goncalves unveil Angola’s AFCON 2023 squad
Pedro Gonçalves, coach of the Palancas Negras has this Sunday, in a press conference, unveiled the final list for the CAN TotalEnergies 2023, to be played in Côte d’Ivoire from the 13th of January to February 11th.

Pedro Goncalves has been working with most of the players from Junior category, including Cagliari’s Zito Luvumbo.
Cote D’Ivoire will be the 9th participation of team Angola in the AFCON, with the best stage attained being the quarter finals in 2008 and 2010.
Angola are lodged in group D alongside 2019 winners Algeria, Mauritania and Burkina Faso.
The Palancas Negras kick-start their campaign on January 15 against Angola, before games against Mauritania and Burkina Faso on the 20th and 23rd.
