Dynamo drags USMA to court due to unpaid Royalties on Ateba

Having made a name for himself on the field from his debut (2 goals and 3 assists in 5 appearances), Leonel Ateba is now equally the subject of a thorny dispute between Dynamo of Douala and USM Alger.

It is a matter that USM Algiers could have easily worked out with a little more rigor and a lot of honesty in their transactions.

Having concluded with the arrival of Leonel Ateba Mbida (25 years old) in yhe winter from Dynamo de Douala, USMA, to date, has not paid the transfer fees as agreed in the deal.

“Despite the multiple reminders, it is clear to date that the Algerian side has not fulfilled its commitments.

“They no longer give any news on the financial obligations. Based on this observation, Dynamo Football Club de Douala, to upholds its rights, to request arbitration from the world football governing body (FIFA) to resolve what appears to be a dispute”, explains the Elite 1 club in a communique.

After several reminders that went unanswered, the Cameroonian club decided to contact FIFA.

The amount of the transfer is around 300,000 euros according to different sources.
