Elite One: YOSA Win With Swagger Against Astres

YOSA just looked unerring and quite invincible. It was Ngong Neville’s turn to get a share a goal – gifts. A long ball over the top once more. Neville netted after a one – on – one miss from Agbor Emmanuel, who easily would have had a hat – trick or more against in the tie.

The second half was much more better from Astres’ perspective but the center – half pairing of Aminu Illiasu and Brandon Ntui thwarted all created chances, plus, every after attack from the Brazilians of Bepanda was matched by counter attacks from YOSA second half substitutes: Yuh Moses, Jean Claude Laimo and Tangiri Franklin.
In the tail end of the game, YOSA later put a gloss on the scoreline from an Astres corner, as Yuh Moses won the ball, went over 40 yards before slotting to it to Tangiri Franklin who toe poked for five – nil.
The result makes it 7 points in a possible 9 from YOSA, after a spell of 3 games without a victory. YOSA are now on 15 pts, level with 6th placed Astres after 12 games played in group B.
