AS Fortuna Coach Announced Dead

Monday July 19 has been a terrible day for AS Fortuna Filles who first of all lost their lead – trainer – Ibrahim Mouliom, before losing their promotion playoff game against Lekie FC.

Coach IBRAHIM MOULIOM of As Fortuna (Women’s second tier) died in the early hours of today morning, following an illness.

Despite his demise, his team went on as scheduled to play the Center play-off final at 2pm, against the Lekie, and lost.

Women’s Football specialist Junior Noah Sosos had this to say about the run of events;

‘It had to be difficult phycologically just few hours to their playoff game against Lekie FC.

‘He (Ibrahim mouliom) died in the morning and his players had to play later in the afternoon. Phycologically it was normal for the AS Fortuna Filles players’ to be downcast.’ Sosos stated.

He then went on: ‘the team had to search deep for stability, to play Lekie FC, a team that has been playing for promotion to the top – flight for four to five years and they’ve always missed, not by much. The loss of their coach cost them everything. It is terrible,’ the media officer of Guinness Super League contenders AWA FC, ended.

It is quite difficult to see where the club of president Roger Noah goes from here hence.
