Frank Zambo Anguissa Named EA SPORTS FC Serie A Player of the Month for October
Napoli’s powerhouse midfielder Frank Zambo Anguissa has been named the EA SPORTS FC Serie A Player of the Month for October 2025, following a string of dominant performances that underlined his importance to the reigning Italian champions. The Cameroonian international will officially receive the award on Saturday, November 22, before Napoli’s home clash against Atalanta at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples.
Anguissa emerged as the standout performer of the month after an impressive run between Matchdays 6 and 9 of the 2025/26 Serie A season. His consistent excellence, combined with three decisive goals in October, earned him top marks in both fan voting and advanced performance analysis conducted by Kama Sport, using data from the Hawk-Eye tracking system. This innovative evaluation method considered not only traditional statistics but also positional and movement data highlighting Anguissa’s impact off the ball, decision-making, and overall contribution to Napoli’s tactical and physical balance.
By securing the accolade, Anguissa beat out strong competition from Bonazzoli (Cremonese), Calhanoglu (Inter), Cambiaghi (Bologna), Caprile (Cagliari), and Leão (Milan). The recognition marks the second time the Cameroonian midfielder has won the award, following his first triumph in January 2025.
