Arnaud Djoum Leaves Saudi For Cyprus

Cameroonian international Arnaud Djoum has signed up with Cyprus first – tier side – Apollon Limasol, from Al Read.

After two seasons in Saudi Arabia, the Indomitable Lions midfielder has just signed up with multiple Cyprus league winners – Apollon till 2023.

Djoum’s scorecard at Al Raed reads; 54 appearances, and 7 goals in 58 appearances, since the 2019/20 season.

The move for Arnaud Djoum should definitely be a yardstick for preparations in view of a participation in the next AFCON in Cameroon.

The midfielder’s return to Europe is a déjà vu as he has played for clubs in Belgium and Scotland. Apollon Limassol are three time champions of the Cypriot league and finished second in the championship round last season with 74 points.
