China League One: Ndip Tambe Scores 8th League Goal Against Chengdu Qianbao

2017 AFCON winner Robert Ndip Tambe scored his 8th league goal of the season on Sunday September 12.

The Center forward’s goal however came in as a consolation and nothing more, as his side Shaanxi Chang’an went on to lose 3-1 to Chengdu Qianbao.

Two first half goals from
Liu Bin and De Sousa Silva gave the home side a two – nil lead before Ndip Tambe was right on queue to halve the deficit with 5 minutes left to the end of the first half.

A fight back for an equaliser was not meant to be as Hu Mingtian made sure Chengdu got all three points with his 82nd minute finish, despite having just 10 men on the pitch as a red red was brandished to Hu Yongfa

That result leaves Tambe and co at the 5th place of the log after 27 matches, with 36 points acquired in their pursuit for a Chinese Super League spot.

Tambe had recorded 19 appearances for his side so far.
