CABV African Men’s Volleyball Championship: Cameroon Reaches Successive Finals

Against Morocco at lunchtime in the ongoing African Men’s Volleyball Championship on Monday, Cameroon won 3 sets to 2 (15-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-17, 15-13) in a hard-fought semi-final bout.

Thanks to this victory, the team reached the final of the event for the second time in a row.

Ahmed Awal’s teammates also won their qualification ticket for the world championship scheduled for 2022.

The Lions will go on to face Tunisia in the finals, just like in 2019.

Cameroon are aiming for gold this time after heartbreak in Tunisia where they emerged runners – up to hosts Tunisia in 2019. Cameroon has won gold twice in this competition (1989, 2001).
