Official: Eta Bawak Leaves Cotonsport; Al Merreikh Interested

Al Merrikh has now emerged as strong contenders to sign full – back Thomas Eta Bawak after he did not extend his contract with Cotonsport of Garoua, despite reports of the player being in advanced negotiations with Real Tamale.

Eta Bawak has been a great servant for the Cotonsport, helping them to two League titles in his three year stay at the club, with CAF competitions – intertwined between. In Bawak’s most recent CAF competition, he reached semis of the CAF Confederation cup this term, playing as an unorthodox left back the entire season, under coach Souleymanou Aboubakar.
