Hugo Colace: Greed Turns Former Bangor City Coach Against His Employers

Hugo Colace, 37, has officially been axed off his position as head coach of Celebrated – Welsh – side – Bangor City FC.

The above assertion is backed by a club statement released by Bangor City, spread on the club’s official media handles;

“Bangor City has decided to terminate the contract of head coach Hugo Colace following an internal investigation by the club.

“This comes along with the performances of the team that have not reached the standards required and a worrying disciplinary record.

Amid all the brouhaha, it will seem the Argentine was manipulated by certain detractors, aiming to claim ownership of the club, and as such, causing internal distress.

Sportsglitz.net on a fact finding mission noticed that former Bangor FC coach – Colace was in the same WhatsApp group with Christopher O’Neal and Stephen Vaughan, the day he sort of ‘hypnotized’ some players to revolt against top management of Bangor FC.

Many in Bangor would ponder what Stephen Vaughan and Chris O’Neal; fancily called Corby, were doing with Hugo Roberto Colace in the same WhatsApp group.

Club chairperson – Serafino inherited a club witnessing near – financial extinction from Vaughan, and after paying all the debts, he immediately had the pandemic staring him on the face.

During those turbulent times, Serafino reportedly payed high salaries to players that mainly Hugo Colace selected and offered them contracts with many extra benefits, including flights for themselves and family members.

Shockingly, most players selected were mostly his friends and in May 2021, after the 2019/2020 season was officially cancelled by the FAW, these friends/players left the club and never came back.

The second – tier Welsh Football league stopped in March 2020, and resumed in July 2021 (16 months after), but Hugo Colace insisted on claiming all his wages, and equally asked for an increase in salary.

Colace as sportsglitz.net found out, pushed for his most favourite players to get a salary increase as well as the addition of extra benefits to their already juicy contracts.

During that period, Colace assured the president that the championship was about to resume in no time, which turned out to be false.

It is obvious that Hugo Colace, Stephen Vaughan, and Christopher O’Neal were after a planned takeover of the club, in a rather unlawful way. They were planning to snatch it from the incumbent – Serafino.

Their plan begun in the middle of the pandemic, exactly when Bangor City FC (as well as other clubs in the UK and around the world), were barely managing to cover their running costs, and pay old debts, even till date.

In addition to the challenging times that the club had to go through during the pandemic, Hugo Colace continued to hire new players, and he then increased the salaries of his players/friends, which led to the club being questioned by the FAW about such huge salaries, pointing out that they were not suitable salaries for a second division club.
Stephen Vaughan is a popular figure in Bangor. He is someone with a tarnished past, and someone who managed to divide a fan base and destroyed the history of a club that was saved from going bankrupt by Mr. Serafino.

Chris O’Neal, nicknamed Corby, is a person who has always stood by Vaughan’s side and who has also enjoyed great economic benefits thanks to Bangor City FC.

These three have teamed up to try to become the owners of the Club without, of course, paying anything to the rightful owner.
The President has repeatedly shown his willingness to pay salaries by offering a settlement agreement to players and the coaching staff, but Colace’s assistants and two players, under his pressure and advised by Christopher O’Neal’s Company (Claim Assist), preferred to report the Club to the FAW.

All the plots and backbiting at a time when performances were not coming under Colace’s tenure. In September, the club was out of cup games, and in mid – table, a difficult position that was near – impossible to fight as title contenders.

Two weeks earlier, again under BCFC’S former coach’s pressure, the players staged a protest, as they were called to pose for a photoshoot that was immediately disclosed to the press.
Everything is clearly part of the plan between Corby, Vaughan and Colace to take possession of the club, with violence, threats, and psychological subjection towards the players and staff.
Now that things are clear enough, Stakeholders wish Serafino are set to continue growing with the club.
