Botola Pro: Lambert Araina Scores First League Goal For AS FAR

23 – year – old forward Lambert Araina was on the score sheet in the Botola Pro. league for AS FAR Rabat on match day 10, played this Sunday November 7th.

The youngster opened scoring at the 14th minute against HUSA, before teammate Borges made it 2-0, two minutes after the half hour mark.

Home side HUSA halved deficit in the second half, but FAR Rabat held on to the lead to grab all 3 points at the Stade Adrar stadium.

The goal was Araina’s second official goal for AS FAR after his goal in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminaries against JS Kabylie.

With the victory, AS FAR moves to 18 points after 10 games in the Moroccan championship.

Araina was shortlisted in the list of 32 players called up by Lions coach – Antonio Conceiçao for games against Malawi and Cote D’Ivoire, but he was later dropped.

The marksman could be a real tool for Sven Vandenbroeck and his men if he keeps up banging the goals in his rookie season.
