AFCON Trophy Reaches Final Destination

Lastly paraded on the streets of Lagos-Nigeria from Burkina Faso, the trophy of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations has been presented to Cameroon’s minister of Sports and Physical Education.

As anounced by the MINSEP boss Prof Narcisis Mouelle Kombi, the most cherished soccer prize which arrived his office earlier today, December 07 has been taken to the Prime Minister’s office.

From the offices of the two state men, the AFCON organizing committee will take the caravan to the streets of the capital City from where it will be taken to other hosting sites.

The corverted golden trophy had recorded a brief stay in Algeria, Ghana and Malawi before arriving Cameroon.

In a bid to light up the atmosphere 30days to competition proper, MOLA, mascot of the tournament will parade all ten regional capitals.
