CaF CL: Jwaneng Galaxy Make History In 1-1 Draw Against ES Sahel

Bostswanan outfit Jwaneng Galaxy made history with their first ever point in the CAF champions league, after a late equaliser from Thabang Vicent Sesinyi against ES Sahel.

After years of heartache and crashing out in the prelims, coach Ramoreboli and his side rallied from behind to level – up against ES Sahel, at the Francistown stadium.

It wasn’t all that rosy for the home side as they conceded and trailed for chunks of the game.

Former Tottenham and Ahly forward, Souleymane Coulibaly, 27, scored the curtain raiser at the 14th minute for Sahel.

It stayed that way and seemed all three points were the visitor’s to grab, until Sesinyi popped up with an equaliser at the depth (90+1) to gift Jwaneng a point.

Jwaneng Galaxy still have a long way to go in group C, as they still rank 4th with a point acquired. They welcome second-placed CR Belouizdad next.
