U17 WC Qualifiers: Lionesses Make R2 Unscathed

The U17 Lionesses have qualified for the second round of the India 2022 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after Eritrea pulled out.

Having been in camp preparing for the double confrontation against Eritrea as part of the India 2022 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, the U17 Lionesses did not play before validating their qualification for the next round.

And for good measure, their opponents, Eritrea, threw in the towel.

The country withdrew from the competition citing some reasons including logistical reasons.

It happens to be a gift for the ladies of coach Stéphane Ndzana’s who have made the second round unscathed and await their next opponents.
