Raphael Anaba Scores Assist In Senica’s Defeat To Liptovsky

Cameroonian left-back Raphael Anaba climbed off the bench to dish out an assist in his team’s 2-1 loss to Liptovsky Mikulas Tatran on match day 23 of the Slovak Super Liga.

The defender, fresh from impressing with his side in the slovnaft cup, had a stellar second half, which led to his first assist in 180 minutes in the championship.

The EX Ecole de Foot graduate and his teammates could not hold on to their lead as Liptovsky came from a goal down to win.

After Anaba had served for Milan Jurdík (68), Ľuboslav Laura drew the two sides level at the 81st minute, before Tomáš Gerát’s 89th minute strike gifted the home side victory.

21 year old Anaba and his teammates however remain top of the relegation playoffs with 27 points out of 23 matches played.

As bonus, the youngster’s side is through to the quarter finals of the Slovnaft cup after his goal and assist against FK 2020 Sasova.
