Paralimniou 2-0 Arihonas: Turbo-Charged Lamy Inspires EN To Victory

EN Paralimniou got the better of Ahironas (2-0) with their Cameroonian forward Julien Lamy, scoring one of two goals on the afternoon.

The youngster aged 22, is in a little purple patch of his own in only his debut season for the club, as he has a scored 5 goals so far this campaign, and assisted 6.

Most importantly for the lad, his team now can smell the top-flight, if they don’t step their foot of the gas pedal in the remaining few games.

EN opened the scores in front of their always effervescent fans at the Paralimni Municipal stadium at the 26th minute, courtesy Meira.

10 minutes later, Lamy popped up with a goal of his own, to send the 1974-75 Cypriot Division 1 runners up – home and dry.

Paralimniou are still battling in two fronts( Cup and Cypriot D2) for success this season, which is quite impressive for a team that got relegated to the inferior Championship only last season.

Paralimniou are ranked 3rd, one point behind first placed Nea Salamis, with 5 games to go.
