CAF Confed Cup: Mazembe Beat Masry To Top Of Group C

Tout Puissant Mazembe won their game on Sunday against Al Masry by a score of two goals to nil with a brace from Adam Bossu.

It was the last playing day of the group stage in the Confederations Cup.

After the first half dominated by Mazembe despite a score of zero-all, the troops of Franck Dumas accelerated with incursions into the camp of Al Masry until they obtained the opener in the 53rd minute of play thanks to an acrobatic effort from Adam Bossu that beat the Masry goalie.

Despite the 4 substitutions made on the side of Al Masry, Mazembe continued with the offensives until they increased tally coutesy Adam Bossu’s brace.

Mazembe finished first in the group stage with 11 points, followed by Al Masry with 10 points.
