Ligue 1: Stephane Bahoken Scores Assist Against Lyon

Cameroon international forward Stephane Bahoken assisted in his side’s 3-2 loss to Lyon on match day 30 of the French Ligue 1 championship.

Bahoken played 83 minutes in the ball game before eventually making way for Marin Jakoliš.

Lyon opened the scores through their top scorer – Moussa Dembélé at the 26th minute.

The EX Celtic poacher helped Lyon take the lead once more after Pereira Lage equalised for Angers, five minutes after the pose. Dembele increased tally for his side two minutes after (52).

The game however turned in favour of Bahoken and co once more, with the EX Strasbourg man getting involved himself. Bahoken slotted for his strike partner Boufal, who equalised for Angers.

Lyon’s new import Tete, spoiled the party for the visitors as his second touch in the game led to the tie break. Three – two it ended for Lyon on the day. Angers are 14th – placed with 32 points recorded. Personally, it was Bahoken’s first assist this campaign, adding to his two goals scored.
