Choupo Moting Unhappy At Bayern?

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is reportedly unhappy at Bayern. He no longer sees himself as a second zone player at the club and will want to leave the club if Harry Kane (who has been linked with a move to Bayern) arrives.

Discussions for an extension will be complicated.
According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, it is not a foregone conclusion that Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will extend his contract with the club.

The Indomitable Lion’s current contract expires after this season and if he is not assured of a starting role, the Cameroon forward could choose to move on.

“Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting no longer wants to be a sub. He wants to continue as a starter at the highest level. If Harry Kane joins Bayern, Choupo wouldn’t want to stay on as a backup. Contract talks will not be easy and will drag on for some time,” Plettenberg reported.

Interestingly, Choupo-Moting doesn’t just have to worry about Bayern Munich’s rumored interest in Kane, the 33-year-old will be competing with fellow veteran Thomas Müller for playing time as a striker. It seems Choupo-Moting’s brief stint as a star striker has made him want to give himself one last shot at being a top man. Will Bayern Munich offer enough money to change their minds? It remains to be seen.
