Enzo Tchato Waves Aside “Les Blues’ For Cameroon

Cameroonian U20 international, Enzo Tchato denied the chance of representing two-time World champions France, in favour of Cameroon.

In his first full season in Ligue 1 as a player of Montpellier, the 19-year-old right-back has already made 12 appearances for a goal and an assist in the league.

Born in France, Enzo had a chance to play in the youth set up of France, but the son of former Cameroonian international Bill Tchato chosed to play for the Indomitable Lions, the country of his parents country: ” Cameroon is a logical, natural and emotional choice. All my family lives there. It is an objective, it would be an outcome. This is close to my heart. As my father played for the selection, it would also be a legacy”, the lad declared on his latest media outing.

A statement that will certainly please Rigobert Song, coach of the Indomitable Lions who could call on the services of the Montpellier player in the next Cameroon fixtures.
