Mbella Etouga Opens Al Masry Account

Frank Mbella Etouga has taken some weight off his shoulders with his first goal for new club Al Masry.

The 21-year-old was given loads of stick for not having opened his account in the Egyptian premier league, despite arriving with a huge reputation from Ghana.

The former AS Fortuna man scored on match day 8, when Masry hosted Al Mokawloon.

With Masry down by one, Mbella put parity in the contest at the 42nd minute. Mokawloon took the lead once more at the 49th minute through
Abdelrahman Khaled, but Mbella’s teammate, Elyes Jlassi drew both teams level again.

Al Masry are placed 10th in the 18-team championship with 8 points harvested from 8 games thus far.

Coach Hossam Hassan will be hoping Mbella Etouga gets to his frightening best.

Anything to the youngsters performances last term where he ended with 21 goals for Asante Kotoko, and Al Masry will be sure of a comfortable finish on the log.
