Djiko Pip Renaissance In Bandjoun
On match day 7, of group A at the Bandjoun Municipal stadium, Djiko FC benefited from her home advantage to narrowly leapfrog Renaissance FC 1-0.
It was Djiko’s second successive victory after a win against PWD before the break, via the same margin (1-0).
The game was won and lost in the first half of the encounter. Forward, Malai Mohamed stroke at the second minute to seal the deal.
Djiko FC can take loads of positives from their last two outings – having won twice, keeping two clean sheets in the process.
Djiko will travel to yaounde to pit Eding on Saturday, Dec. 24. Eding are fresh from a victory against PWD .
As for Renaissance, they face Avion Academy next on Saturday. Renaissance is winless in their last two, and the charges of Annicet Koung need to get inspiration somewhere, as the relegation battle is shaping out to be a dog fight.
