Kortrijk Are In PAIN After Ze’s Acquisition

KV Kortrijk realized a big move in the transfer market last summer with the arrival of Didier Lamkel Zé. But, it has ultimately turned out to be a flash in the pan.

Didier Lamkel Zé seemed to be off to a good start at KV Kortrijk
after he left Antwerp, but the Cameroonian quickly fell back into his old habits of indiscipline.

KV Kortrijk has remarked that it was indeed a wrong move to bring in Ze Lamkel.

“The idea was to choose a player with qualities beyond our league thinking that, if we could manage him a little better, he would be an absolute added value for us. Looking back, I wouldn’t do it again” , Matthias Leterme said.

Ze has on several occasions underlined that he is bigger than
KV Kortrijk and wishes to leave.

In November, he told RTBF: “ Given my qualities, I know that I am better than Courtrai .

“ Ferencvaros is a big club, that plays the Champions League or the Europa League every year. (…) At 90%, I can therefore announce that I will sign in Hungary in January. It’s time for me to be forgotten in Belgium. As soon as my name is mentioned here, something happens: it’s as if I had killed someone”.

Ze has played 10 games for Courtrai in the Jupiter Pro League this season for one goal and two assists.
