CHAN 2022: Coach Abate Cuts Ethiopia’s List To 28

Ethiopia’s list has been reduced 28 as the team heightens preparations for the African Nations Championship.

Coach Ubutu Abate initially made a temporary call consisting of 42 players. He attended the Ethiopian Premier League competition being held in Dredawa and evaluated performances and condition of the players before he reduced the number of players to 28.

The Ethiopian Premier League is right up there but the league’s competitiveness isn’t mirrored in the African Nations Championship.
