CHAN 2022: Amir Abdou’s List Of 25 Headlined By 9 Nouadhibou Players

Amir Abdou, coach of Mauritania has published a list of 25 players for the forthcoming CHAN. On the list are 5 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 12 midfielders and 6 attackers.

FC Nouadhibou is the most represented club with 9 players. It is followed by Nouakchott King’s with 7 players, Tevragh Zeïna (5 players), Customs (4 players). This internship begins from November 7 to 11, 2022, in the Mauritanian capital.

The African Nations Championship is scheduled for January 13 to February 4 in Algeria. Housed in group D, Mauritania will face Angola and Mali in search for a second round spot.

Coach Abdou comes in with massive experience having led the Comoros Island to the round of 16s of the last Africa Cup of Nations.
