Jonathan Ngwem Wins MOTM After Dazzling Performance For Future FC Against Cleopatra

Jonathan Ngwem put up a man of the match display and eventually won the personal accolade after Future FC’s win against Cleopatra Ceramica.

On the occasion of the 12th day of the Egyptian Premier League, Ceramica Cleopatra FC lost against Future FC. The match ended 2-3 for the away side.

On Saturday, January 7, the Ceramica Cleopatra received Future FC at the Cairo International Stadium. The match was played at 17:00 UTC. It was a game that saw the 11th pit the 4th in the championship.

The match got off to a flying start. From the 1st minute, Mido Gaber opened the scoring for Ceramica Cleopatra FC.

J. Ngwem equalized for Future FC in the 27th minute. It was the Cameroonians second goal in the championship.

In the 31st minute, a blow foFuture FC, Mahmoud Marei came out injured and was replaced by Mahmoud Rizk.

The half ended with the score of 2-1, despite the 2nd goal being disputed. Ceramica Cleopatra FC took the advantage in added on time (45+2) via a goal from J. Ebuka.

Mohamed Reda tied the teams at two-all and the stage was set once more for Ngwem to grab a heroic status, which he did, by serving Omar Kamal for the winner at the 65th minute.

Ngwem has had a hand in 6 goals this season, scoring twice and assisting four times.

On match day 14, Ceramica Cleopatra FC will host Smouha SC on Friday 20 January. Future FC, meanwhile, will face ENPPI at their home ground on Wednesday, January 18.
