MTN Elite Two Results & Classification Table After Mid-Week Fixtures

Victoria United have changed things around, from fighting a relegation battle to top of the table after a succession of four wins in a row.

The Limbe-based outfit defeated Stade Bertoua 3-1 with a brace from Etchu Perry (his third of the season), and another from Jonas Elias which took the contest away from Stade Bertoua. Victoria United mount the podium with 19 points from 12 games played, having played at least game more than other teams in the MTN Elite Two championship.

Mid-table placed Lausanne equally had an impressive victory against Bafut Rangers. The center-based outfit brushed aside Rangers 3-0 in Bamenda.

AS FAP started the season with loads of fire and that wasn’t to changing against Leopard of Douala. Beyong Mineli’s lone strike won the game for FAP.

OFTA of Kribi finally picked up their first league win of the campaign with a 2-1 victory over TKC in a bottom of the table clash. Due to the victory, OFTA moves four points within TCK who are ranked 12th with 9 points.

Unofficial classification table

Unisport have not been able to build on that two-nil win over Leopard. After the defeat to Racing Bafoussam in the previous match day, they shared the spoils against Dynamo (0-0) on Wednesday.

Newcomers Aigle of Moungo have been as good as Victoria United but in recent match days just lost pace. Aigle was held to a one-all draw against Racing away from home.
