CAF CL: Petro Lack FUEL Against Kabylie

Last year’s CAF champions league semi-finalists Petro Luanda started off their TotalEnergies CAF champions league with draw against JS Kabylie, despite dominating the game.

JS Kabylie sneaked away with a draw on Angolan soil where they checked Petro Luanda (0-0) on Saturday, at the November 11 stadium in Luanda, in group A of the TotalEnergies CAF champions league.

The hosts started like a house on fire and came close 7 minutes after the half hour mark when
Anderson Cruz tested JSK goalkeeper Aberrahmane Medjadel in the 39th minute with a low shot from distance but the former Paradou AC player handled the effort without trouble.

JSK had few chances of their own with the most clear cut coming from Hocine Mouaki.

Mouaki created half a yard for himself and was one-v-one with goalkeeper Marques at the 67th minute, but the forward flopped from point blank range.

Kinito came close for Petro late on but sent his header wide from a corner kick with Medjadel out of position to sum up a frustrating match for the hosts.
