CAF Confederation cup: Asko Hold Future FC To 1-1 Draw

Egyptian club Future FC started their TotalEnergies CAF Confederation cup mission with a one-all draw in group C against Togolese outfit Asko of Kara on Sunday.

Both teams had either halves and scored in their time of dominance. Asko opened the scoring but Future FC scored late to sneak a point on the road.

ASKO de Kara winger Kangnivi Ama Tchoutchoui secured an early lead only three minutes from the start, while winger Mohamed Farouk scored the equaliser ten minutes before the final whistle.

Future FC secured their place in the competition’s Group stage after defeating Angolan side Primeiro de Agosto 3-2 on shoot-out.

Group C is delicately poised with no team yet to record a victory. FAR y and Pyramids drew 2-2 in the other game.
