Amih Renzoh Scores Again, But UMS Defeat Stade Renard

Cameroonian U23 international Amih Renzoh hit target for a fifth time this season in his team’s defeat to UMS Loum in the resumption of the MTN Elite One Championship over the weekend.

UMS of Loum headlined last week prior to the league’s resumption with a threat to boycott if FECAFOOT didn’t fulfill its financial obligations.

However, the men of coach Ndoumbe Bosso were able to leave all that behind them, and got a crucial win which moves them move momentarily top of group A.

Gilles Tchamtchoua opened scoring at the 10th minute, but against the run of play, former ISOHSA man, Amih Renzoh equalised for Stade Renard at the 21st minute for his 5th goal of the campaign.

Experienced winger Joseph Momaso scored in borrowed time (90+5) to put a cap on the contest.

Stade Renard started the season with some mind-blowing results under coach Olivier Nankam, but they are currently under loads of difficulties.

The 2019 Cameroon cup winners have picked up three points out of a possible 15, and they occupy 8th place with 13 points in group A.

UMS tops group A with 20 points, one ahead of Colombe, and level with Cotonsport, but with a greater goal difference. UMS face Aigle Royal next, while Stade Renard pits Renaissance on Saturday 19th.
