Aigle-Colombe Ends In Dead Rubber

Colombe could not regain her position at the top of group A after a goalless draw against Aigle Royal of the Menoua upon the resumption of the MTN Elite One championship.

it however seemed like two points dropped rather than a point gained for coach Anicet Mbarga Foe’s charges, who only had just to win to reclaim top spot.

Due to the slip off and wins registered by UMS and Cotonsport in their advanced day 12 fixture, Colombe are now rooted in 3rd position with 19 points.

Aigle Royal however seemed the happier of the two especially as Colombe won the reversed fixture last year. They are placed 6th in the 11-team table with 16 points so far.

Aigle will play next against group A leaders UMS over the weekend, while Colombe will challenge PWD who were on standby in the previous match day.
