CAF CL: Unstoppable Raja Make Light Work Of Simba

A week after mauling Vipers 5-0 at home, the Moroccan club again distinguished itself on Saturday by beating away Simba SC 3-0 on the occasion of the second day of group matches, in group D of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.

Former champions Raja Casablanca secured an impressive victory to top the groups with a maximum six points.

Raja, whose last of three titles came in 1999, were far too good for Simba of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam with goals from Hamza Khabba, Soufiane Benjdida and Ismail Mokadem delivering a 3-0 win.

Overshadowed by Casablanca neighbours Wydad recently in Africa, Raja have scored eight times in two Group C outings and not conceded.

This defeat is the second of the Tanzanian club in two games. He had already lost against Horoya AC (1-0) on the first day.
