CAF CC: Pyramids Maul Asko 4-1

Fortunes have not changed for ASKO de Kara in group C of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation cup after a 4-1 mauling in the hands of Egyptian giants, Pyramids SC on Wednesday.

The visitors opened scores through Fakhreddine Ben Youssef as early as the 3rd minute of play. His teammate Mostafa Fathi followed suit with a double in the 26th and 36th minutes to make it 3-0 at halftime.

Upon return from the locker room, Pyramids scored a fourth goal through Islam Issa in the 64th minute, before Ama Tchoutchoui reduced the score for ASKO two minutes later (66th).

Pyramids takes the lead in Group C with 8 points after the Future FC defeated FAR Rabat 2-0.

As for ASKO de Kara, it is their third defeat and they have just a single point after four games played.
