Africa Regional Summit Billed For Nigeria, As UPF Admonish For Peace & Inclusion

Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Director General Yun Young Ho launched the 2023 Africa Regional Summit on Saturday, January 7, 2023 in Maputo, Mozambique. for starters, the project is aimed to bring sustainable inter-country peace.

the Africa Regional Summit is an initiative of the Universal Peace Federation and it will take place in Abuja with the tag: ”Supporting African Union Goals and Flagship Projects for Sustainable Peace: Solutions and innovations for peace, in Africa and in the world.

The Director General, Yun Young Ho, said he was happy, because the summit will held with the “agreement” of the chairperson of the African Union and that of Muhammadu Buhari, president of Nigeria, that will serve as a host country of the programme.

”The 2023 Africa Regional Summit will be an opportunity for leaders from Africa and around the world to reflect seriously on the prospects for peace, security and human development in Africa and in the world”, Mr. Yun Young aired.

According to him, the 2023 Africa Regional Summit will contribute to building a more inclusive, peaceful and prosperous world.

“Africa’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage as a resource for peace will be showcased to present and consider new ideas to address moral decay and loss of values,” added Ho Yun Young.

The Universal Peace Federation insists on the need to take into account the “African spirituality in the resolution of the problems” and embarks on a fight for the registration of the federation and its associations as an “advisory body” with the African Union on peace issues.
