CAF CL: Horoya Inflicts First Defeat On Raja

Raja of Casablanca lost on the patch of Horoya via a 2-1 score on Saturday, on match day 4 in group B of the CAF Champions League.

Raja opened the scoring through Hamid Ahadad at the 19th minute but the hosts reversed the trend after goals from Ocansey Mandela (26) and Yakhouba Barry at the 29th minute.

After her first defeat in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup, Raja still leads the ladder with 9 points, while Horoya takes its first three points of the tourney.

There is still a window of hope for Horoya, if they can pick points away to Setif, and defeat Amazulu in Guinea.

The other match of the group saw Algerian reps ES Setif defeat AmaZulu.
