Lions winger, Christian Bassogog is upbeat ahead of the Cameroon against Cote D’Ivoire cruncher, on the ocassion of match day 6 of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

‘I take it positively and I will work to be better and give even more smiles to Cameroonians,’ the fleetfooted lefty ended.

The later was unarguably the best performer in the Lions’ most recent game against Malawi, with a blistering performance, blessed by a brace. However, Bassogog is not carried away. The 26 year old told reporters that it all depends on the gaffer’s tactical dispositions; starting him against Cote D’Ivoire or not.

Christian has been tipped by dozens to start against Cote D’Ivoire as Cameroon go in search of the sole knockout ticket in group D, on Tuesday 16.
