Percy Tau & Pitso: Lion Of Judah Set To Reunite With Jingles
According to reports from Times Live, Brighton and Hove Albion have reached an Agreement with Egyptian giants – Ahly, over the transfer of Bafana Bafana striker – Percy Tau.
Ahly have found the profile of the South African international fondly called ‘Lion of Judah’ – interesting, as they look to add quality to their side, already burgeoning with talents.
After a season spent at Al Ahly in Egypt where Pitso Mosimane won the most valued title on the continent, the South African wants to strengthen his workforce, with a former workmate.
Pitso is sure thinking of giving the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns player an opportunity to redeem himself after a football season in wilderness, owing to lack of game time.
Mosimane confirmed to Soccer Laduma on Tuesday that he is open to reuniting with the 27-year-old forward. “I have a great relationship with Percy. And if he’s available, why not? And also, does he want to come back to Africa? Can we afford the transfer fees Brighton would charge? Can we meet with his personal conditions? If all of these boxes can be checked, then I will have a huge interest in this one,’ Pitso ended.
Further reports from Times Live have it that the deal is well on course and might be completed this Friday.
