Franklin Wadja On Target As Caen Topple Ligue 2 Leaders Toulouse

Franklin Wadja contributed to the victory of Caen on the patch of Toulouse FC (2-3) on match day 10 of the French Ligue 2, by scoring and putting up a scintillating display. It was Cameroonian’s first goal this season.

The club recorded their fourth victory of the season, bringing down the league leaders Toulouse.

The men of Stephane Moulin were able to count on their summer recruit Franklin Wadja for a fine performance from the middle of the park, as usual.

Wadja scored as early as the 8th by heading from a corner.

The 26 year old Douala native and former Lorient man has already played 684 minutes for his new side, a fair enough game time for a new recruit.

Caen are 9th with 14 points from 10 games. Wadja and co go up next against Valencienne on Saturday Oct. 2.
