Moussa Dembele & Doucoure Close To Representing Mali

There is big boost for the Eagles of Mali before their clash against Tunisia in the 2022 World Cup play-offs, as some skill could be added to the squad.

On Wednesday, the President of the Executive Committee of the Malian Football Federation, Mamoutou Touré, was at a presser to summarize Mali’s participation in AFCON 2021 and talk about the Eagles’ chances during the World Cup play-offs against Tunisia. According to Mamoutou Touré, the team could be reinforced with other dual nationals.

”We are in negotiations for the arrival of Abdoulaye Doucouré, Moussa Dembele and Cheick Doucoure, who plays for Racing Club de Lens, and by the end of the week we will have a result”.

Coach Mohamed Magassouba has been maintained, and dear me, he will need those reinforcements. Having s cored 8 goals with Olympique Lyonnais this season in Ligue 1, Dembele, 25, represented France at youth set ups.

Opponents at the group stage of the AFCON, Mali and Tunisia log horns again on March 24 and 29. At stake, a ticket for the World Cup in Qatar. Mali are desperately trying to register their dual nationals before the games.
