Nsame Snaps Second Swiss Transfer Market Player Of The Season Award

Young Boys of Berne striker Jean – Pierre Nsame has queued up his second Transfer Market Swiss player of the year award.

The distinction reached Nsame on Thursday September 9.

For starters, transfermarkt is a German-based  website owned by Axel Springer that has footballing information, such as scores, results, statistics, transfer news, and fixtures.[

It turns out to be an absolute mirror of last season when the 28 year old achieved a milestone scoring 41 goals in all competitions during the 2019-2020 season in 46 matches played where he emerged top scorer in the Swiss Super League with 32 goals and top scorer in the Swiss Cup with 7 goals.

The goal spree was accompanied by a double; winner of the Swiss Championship and Swiss Cup.

Nsame did well with some decent statistics in the 2020/2021 campaign (26 goals in all major competitions) despite not having matched his tally in the season, considered leaps and bounds – his best career statistics so far.

Jean Pierre Nsame is yet to get off the mark by registering his name amid the top goal scorers, but it is still early days after just four games played by Young Boys this season.
