Yaoundé Panthers Triumph in the 9th Edition of CAMER Football Women – Signature Series Event

Yaoundé, Cameroon – The Cameroon Federation of American Football kicked off its season festivities with the highly anticipated 9th edition of the “CAMER Football Women – Signature Series Event”, held from March 15th to 16th, 2025, at the Yaoundé Omnisports Annex 1 Stadium.
This year’s tournament saw intense competition as top women’s American football teams battled for supremacy. After two days of thrilling matchups, the Yaoundé Panthers emerged victorious, securing the championship title by defeating the Bamenda Titans with a final score of 12-6.
Standout Performers and Rankings

The tournament witnessed outstanding individual performances, with Margaret Ngam of the Yaoundé Panthers being recognized as the Best Quarterback of the event. Despite finishing as runners-up, the Bamenda Titans’ Kishi Paula was named the Overall Best Player of the competition, highlighting her exceptional skills and leadership on the field.
At the end of the tournament, the final team rankings were as follows:
- Yaoundé Panthers – Champions
- Bamenda Titans – Runners-up
- Douala Sharks – Third place
- Limbe Sirens – Fourth place
